Quebracho Negro Lysiloma acapulcensis

This hardwood legume tree can grow to 50 feet tall. Its canopy is rounded and dense. The fruit is a flat pod of 4 to 8 inches in length and containing numerous dark seeds. It is also known as false tamarind.

TRADITIONAL PREPARATION:
As an antiparasitic and astringent, boil a 1-inch by 4-inch piece of bark in 1 gallon water. Drink
1 glass before each meal. For dental health, chew the bark each day.
